Enzyme Peel – $100

Glycolic (AHA) Acid Peel – $100
By far our most popular treatment, glycolic acid, derived from sugar cane, is nontoxic and well tolerated by most people. Glycolic acid peels are usually very superficial peels, but can also be more agressive at higher concentrations. Glycolic peels exfoliate dead layers of the skin and, typically, require no downtime. They also help reduce acne related conditions by freeing impacted debris from the pores, improve texture of the skin. Because of the small size of its molecules, which facilitates penetration, results can be faster for people who do not have sensitive skin.
Jessner Peel – $200
This is a medium depth peel designed for more extensive damage than AHA’s can improve. It is made from salicylic acid (a beta hydroxy acid), lactic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid) and resorcinol. First we apply a glycolic cleanser to fully remove the oils and dead protein layer, then the Jessner solution is applied. We usually apply several layers depending on the amount of damage and your tolerance to the treatment. Your skin will develop a whitened look, known as “frosting” that will dissipate within a few hours. Retinoic acid may also be applied to calm the skin and increase peeling effects of the treatment. Your skin will peel and flake for about 7 days and turn pink or brown afterwards, fully recovering to a healthy state within two weeks.

Additional Alpha-hydroxy Acid (AHA) Peels
